Jamshedpur, April 19: Jamshedpur East legislator Saryu Roy’s first book, ‘Lamhon ki Khata’ which was published in July, 2020 had created waves in which special emphasis was laid on the irregularities in the Manhart contract during the BJP rule in Jharkhand. Roy had alleged that a huge scam had riddled the Manhart contract leading to an investigation launched by the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) under order of the state government.
Saryu Roy’s second book, ‘Rahbar ki Rahjani,’ is to be launched on the occasion of Ramnawami on April 21 and it deals mainly with the iron ore scam in the past five years. The 192 page book has been priced at Rs 200 but online buyers will have to pay Rs 100 per copy. The book has been printed at Jharkhand Printers, Jamshedpur and published by Nature Foundation of Ranchi. The front and back covers of the book will be published on social media during the release on April 21.
In a press release, legislator Saryu Roy stated, “I do hope that the tremendous response people showed towards my earlier publication, ‘Lamhon ki Khata’ will be repeated with the publication of my next work, ‘Rahbar ki Rahjani’ that attempts to unmask the true faces of the people at the top.”
