Nine COVID warriors donate plasma in Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, April 19: Considering the surge in Corona cases in the city of Jamshedpur, many Corona warriors are coming forward to donate plasma.  As part of this, today nine persons who recovered from COVID-19 recently donated plasma at the Jamshedpur Blood Bank. While young eye surgeon of Sadar Hospital, Jamshedpur, Dr Vivek Kedia donated Plasma for fifth time today, Anshu Kumar, a Tata Steel employee, gave Plasma for the fourth time and Umakant Pandey  donated Plasma for the third time. Also, OV Abhishek, Vikki and Manish donated Plasma for the first time.

To enthuse Plasma donors which is proving to be highly beneficial for Corona patients, Sanjay Choudhry, Administrator, Jamshedpur Blood Bank, Smita Nagesia, District Nodal Officer for Plasma Donations, Bijay Kumar Singh, Hony Secretary, Indian Red Cross Society, East Singhbhum Chapter and rabhunath Singh, Plasma donation in-charge, Indian Red Cross Society, were present during Plasma collection drive.  All the Plasma donors were honoured with bouquet and memento. They were also presented a certificate of commendation by the Jamshedpur Blood Bank and lauded for their efforts in their notion to serve humanity.
