Saryu Roy questions Jamshedpur flyover project inauguration sans NOC

Jamshedpur, Dec 7: Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy has raised question over the laying of foundation stone for the proposed flyover project in Mango by the state Health Minister Banna Gupta.

In a tweet, Roy expressed surprise over the flyover project inauguration. He said the project could not be started without obtaining no objection certificate (NOC) from Tata Steel.

“The proposed flyover is to be constructed over Dimna Road which belongs to Tata Steel. In such situation, the flyover cannot be built without getting NOC from the company. There are numerous projects in Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) that are pending in want of NOC. If these projects could not take off without NOC, how can the flyover project start off without NOC,” said Roy.
