Jamshedpur: MLA Saryu Roy presented a proposal to the Council of Ministers for the construction of a bridge and a 7-kilometer stretch of road from Litti Chowk of Jamshedpur East Assembly Constituency to NH-33 (Bhilaipahari). The project, estimated at ₹77,77,43,700 aims to alleviate traffic congestion in the area, particularly caused by heavy vehicles.
Roy thanked Chief Minister Champai Soren for securing administrative approval for the scheme. He also extended his appreciation to Road Construction Department Minister Basant Soren and the department’s Secretary, acknowledging their support via social media platform X (Twitter). (w/gsd)
Rai emphasized that the planning process would commence following the conclusion of the Lok Sabha elections. Once implemented, the project is expected to ease traffic congestion in Jamshedpur city and provide relief to Mango from heavy vehicle jams.

Good initiative by Shri Saryu Roy. Around Jamshedour infrastructure development is very much required. Just 15kms distance of main Steel plant 20mtpa Bistupur Jamshedpur villages do not have roads, street lights, no government health care centers. No primary education schools with minimum basic amenities like drinking water, toilets separately for boys and girls, public transport. – Tamolia.
Kapali thana having population of more than 20,000 do not have post office and good connecting road to the new bridge Dobo village. Terrible corruption on government funds and schemes. No public awareness on village development. Ashian Brahmananda Tamolia complex residents staying in 390 flats since 2012 facing lot of problems like, proper roads connectivity with town. Basti area do not have drianage and roads. They are not allowed roads with driansge system. Leaving their regular daily usage water and sewage dirty leaving on public main service road. No body is to take care of regular commuters problems.
Encroachments on servicevroad. Under these circumstances flat owners are compelled to leave flats.
Appeal to TAM to cover the report on ground reality for the development of this area. Poor Adivasi do not have basic facilities even after a separate state of Jharkhand
