Mail News Service

Jamshedpur, Jan 3: Members of Cable Welfare Association invited the newly-elected MLA of Jamshedpur East Saryu Roy on Friday to discuss their various issues. They urged him to take initiative to ensure revival of INCAB as soon as possible in the larger interest of the workers.

Roy expressed disbelief over the fact that no sincere effort was made to revive the company in the last two decades. He said a conspiracy was on to shut the company completely. He said the state government did not take adequate measures to ensure the companys revival. He said the case pertaining to the companys winding up was pending with the National Company Law Tribunal in which the state government is also a party. He said certain people with ulterior motives were trying to push the company on the verge of auction in order to usurp its assets. He assured the union members of looking into the issue. If needed, a CBI inquiry would be demanded into the matter, he said.

Roy further said he would speak to SSP Jamshedpur and demand a fair probe into the recent incident of fire in INCAB general office and incidents of thefts on the company premises as reported to him by the workers.
