Jamshedpur, Jan 3: A man, identified as Chundi Laguri, allegedly killed his brother and sister-in-law in Jamdih village of Tonto police station area in West Singhbhum on Friday. He also injured four kids of the deceased, police said.
The deceased were identified as Ghono Laguri and his wife Dasmati Laguri, both natives of Jamdih.
Sources said the accused came to the couple�s house in the morning and assaulted Ghono with a sharp weapon. The latter got critically injured and fell on the floor. When Dashmati rushed to save her husband, she too, was attacked by the accused. She died at the scene. The accused also assaulted her kids, Jano, Kiran, Roop Singh and Damyanti before fleeing the scene.
Police reached the village on getting a tip-off from the villagers and sent the injured kids to hospital. They said a search was on for the culprit.
