Jamshedpur, Jan 3: East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Ravi Shankar Shukla convened a meeting at Jamshedpur Collectorate on Friday to review the progress of Dhalbhum Airport construction project about 60 km from Jamshedpur. Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahato, Ghatsila MLA Ramdas Soren and various district officials were present at the meeting. The representatives of Airport Authority of India (AAI) were also present on this occasion. All aspects of airport construction project were discussed in detail. The participants unanimously decided to seek the support and cooperation of all stakeholders to ensure timely completion of the project.
The DC said the airport construction work would begin soon after getting no objection certificate (NOC) from the district administration.
