Jamshedpur, Sept 9: State food and civil supplies minister cum Jamshedpur West MLA Saryu Roy held a brainstorming session with party workers of his constituency during his Pravas (stopover) programme on Monday. He held meetings in Mango, Kadma and MGM Mandal units of the BJP.
Addressing party workers, Roy said the BJP government had scrapped Article 370 and Article 35A, paving way for a slew of positive changes in Jammu and Kashmir. He said a lot had changed in the Valley ever since the contentious Articles were removed.
At Mango, the meeting was held at Rajasthan Dharmashala, Dimna Road. It was chaired by the Mandal president Rajesh Sao. At Kadma, the meeting was held at Tarun Sangh under the chairmanship of Deepu Singh. At MGM, the meeting was held in Barabanki near NH33 under the chairmanship of Sushil Mahato. Various poll-related issues were discussed in detail during the meetings.
Roy said earlier citizens from other parts of the country were not allowed to purchase property in Jammu and Kashmir. But now people from other states can purchase property in Jammu and Kashmir, he said.
Roy said the party workers should prepare a list of beneficiaries of Ujjwala Yojana, Ayushman Yojana, Atal Mohulla Clinic facility and other schemes of the Central and state governments. Such people should be informed about the achievements of the BJP-led governments, he said.
Those present during the meeting included Nandjee Prasad, Brahmadev Narayan Sharma, Anil Modi, Chitranjan Verma, Sunil Bari, Amarendra Mallick, Vikas Singh, Preeti Pandya, D Mishra, Tarak Mukherjee, Manish Pandey and G Tulsi.
