Jamshedpur, March 10: Jamshedpur East legislator Saryu Roy facilitated the distribution of Sarvajan Pension Approval Certificates to 530 beneficiaries at his MLA office in Baridih. Among the recipients were 397 men and women aged 60 and above, 111 widows, single, and abandoned women, along with 22 disabled persons.
MLA Saryu Roy initiated the application process for pension benefits through his office, which was subsequently approved by the Jamshedpur Circle Officer. With the issuance of the acceptance certificates, the beneficiaries will commence receiving a monthly pension of Rs 1000 each.
Emphasizing the continuity of pension-related initiatives, MLA Saryu Roy assured that those who were yet to receive their certificates would get them on time. His office has been extending support for various government welfare schemes, including providing lunch and free coaching facilities for children.
The distribution program, which was organized by office in-charge Ashok Kumar and supervised by Amit Kumar and Birendra Singh, saw the presence of several dignitaries and beneficiaries, to ensure efficient delivery of pension benefits.
