Jamshedpur : Agriculture minister Banna Gupta on Friday said that Saryu Roy is dreaming to win Jamshedpur West seat on Narendra Modi magic.
�It�s really surprising that Saryu Roy is dreaming to win the seat on Modi magic. I fail to understand how many `monkeys� will sit on Modi shoulders,� he asked while addressing a press meet at his office in Kadma.
The sitting Congress MLA from Jamshedpur West alleged that BJP candidate Roy wants to win elections on so-called Modi wave. � I have confident on myself that the development work done by me will ensure my win,� Gupta said.
“I can challenge Roy to prove a single corruption charges against me during my tenure as MLA. He alleged me that I have stolen government electricity. But he has not proved this charge,” Gupta said.
Gupta also claimed that Roy and his supporters insulted Congress workers during a litti party in Mango two days back. Roy asked his bodyguard to train his gun at Congress worker Omprakash Singh,� Gupta said.
Gupta said he would file his nomination papers on November 14. �As per our plans we will assemble at Aam Bagan ground in Sakchi and then walk to the deputy commissioner�s office to file nominations.
On Dulal Bhuiyan�s entry into Congress, Gupta said the party has given honour to son of a Dalit.
