Jamshedpur : Despite facing bitter experiences in past Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (JVM) (Prajatantrik), is gearing upto bounce back in Kolhan division.
Though party�s complete list of candidates is yet to be announced but in Kolhan division party is batting on central secretary Abhay Singh and Arvind Singh aka Malkhan Singh.
Party is pinning hopes on both the firebrand leaders to make a new beginning from Kolhan. Sources informed that the first Chief Minister of the State, Babulal Marandi, who will kick start the campaign for Assembly elections from the city, is hopeful that both the candidates will make fair start.
Abhay Singh and Arvind Singh aka Malkhan Singh will contest from Jamshedpur East and Ichargarh respectively. Though there have been talks that Malkhan is looking for options for contesting on Lok Jan Shakti Party ticket but sources informed that he has mended his differences and is hopeful to contest on JVM ticket.
They said that in the Lok Sabha elections, JVM(P) candidates were ahead of their rivals in these Assembly segments. JVM (D) candidate and strongman Arvind Singh who contested Parliamentary elections in 2009 from Jamshedpur stood third with 79,089 votes.
�For the second time we are going to face Assembly elections and we do not to make any mistakes. Leaving all differences we have to untie to fight the polls,� said Abhay Singh.
He went on to inform that he will file his nomination. Party workers will gather at Kashidih puja maidan and from there he will head for nomination at SDO office, Dhalbhum.
Meanwhile sources said that though JVM�s alliance with Congress has ended but out of 14 seats in the Kolhan region that comprises of three districts namely East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum and Seraikela Kharsawan, party is keen to contest on all seats. This region is being considered to be crucial for the parties. JVM too is keen to grab maximum pie in this region.
�Both Abhay and Arvind are senior leaders and well accepted among the people. But it would be testing times for both of them. Party is pinning hopes on them.
They need to spread vision of party among the people and mobilise party cadre too. The activists are all looking forward to ensure better results this time,� said local leader.
