Saplings planted on World Anglo Indian Day

Jamshedpur: World Anglo Indian Day was celebrated by the Jamshedpur branch of The All India Anglo-Indian Association on August 2. The members of the community were in a buoyant mood greeting family and friends. The members planted a sapling at marine drive opposite the land allotted to the association by the Govt. for its community centre.

In honour of World Anglo Indian Day, the members of the association will visit St. Joseph�s Hospital in Bhilai Pahari on Sunday, 5th August.

In keeping up with the love standing legacy of the Anglo Indian community in the field of education the Jamshedpur Branch is organizing their 10th Frank Anthony Memorial English Elocution Contest in August 2018. The Frank Anthony Award for Excellence in studies will be given to the toppers of the ICSE & ISC 2018 examinations at this event.

Present on the occasion were President Nevada Dalby, Treasurer Marvin Moss, Assistant Secretary Evelyn Thomas, Entertainment Secretary Eustace Sneyd, Other Committee Members Craig Rosario and Ritesh Alberts.

The message from Barry O�Brien, the President in chief, of The All India Anglo-Indian Association on this special day is �Reconcile, Respect and rejoice. One needs to appreciate the marvelous job & efforts put in by the senior members over the years to bring the association together.
