Ghatshila, May 8: Sant Nandlal Smriti Vidya Mandir (SNSVM) organized an Achievers Award Ceremony in the multimedia hall to recognize the top-performing students of the school. Dr. R.K Chaudhary, Principal of Ghatshila College, was the chief guest at the event.
Dr. Chaudhary was honored with a fruit basket by the school management. Dr. Prasenjit Karmakar, School Manager, extended a warm welcome to all dignitaries present. Shobha Ganeriwal, School Administrator, congratulated the students in her address, emphasizing the importance of hard work, willpower, punctuality, cooperation, and friendly behavior in achieving success.
Students from classes IX and XI of the 2023-‘24 session were awarded certificates and medals for their outstanding performance in various fields. Thirty students were recognized as scholars for their excellent performance in the annual examination, nine students for maintaining 100% attendance, and seven students for scoring 75% marks in each subject.
Dr. R.K Chaudhary, in his speech, lauded the school environment and advised students to be prepared to achieve their goals and face life’s challenges boldly. He also emphasized the importance of happiness and encouraged students to share it with others.
The programme was attended by Neelkamal Sinha, School Principal, teacher in-charge Anup Kumar Patnaik, senior teacher Indra Kumar Rai,among others while the proceedings were managed by Sayoni Das Karmakar. Several faculty members including Saswati Rai Patnaik, Neelima Sarkar, Gurdeep Kaur, Soma Brahma, Sumita Bhattacharya, Arpo Bhattacharya, Somnath De, S. N Mukherjee, and Sudip Ghosh were in the management team.
Academic in-charge S. R. Dutta extended congratulations to all students for their achievements, marking the occasion as a celebration for their hard work and dedication.
