Jamshedpur, May 8: Rabindra Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm at Govind Vidyalaya, Tamolia on Wednesday, May 8.
School Secretary Abhishek Sharma, Principal Krishna Modak, Head of HOD Naushad Razia, along with teachers and students from classes 9 and 11 were present on the occasion.
The celebration commenced with a welcoming address delivered by Amreen Khan, a student of class 11. Adiba, another class 11 student, captivated the audience with a splendid rendition of Tagore’s iconic song ‘Ekla Chalo Re’. Additionally, students from classes 9 and 11 brought Tagore’s play ‘Chandalika’ to life through a captivating performance.
Under the guidance of Head of HOD Naushad Razia, and with the support of associate teachers Anju Kumari and Neeta Rani, the program showcased the rich cultural heritage associated with Rabindranath Tagore’s legacy.
