Jamshedpur: Union Minister of State for Defence Sanjay Seth and Jamshedpur MP Bidyut Baran Mahto met with the families of Jharkhand laborers killed in a recent Gurgaon construction accident. During the meeting at the Gurgaon PWD guest house, the leaders promised the grieving families swift compensation and employment support.
Immediate Government Action
Both leaders offered their condolences and immediately launched initiatives to secure financial aid for the victims’ kin. Union Minister Sanjay Seth personally called Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini to request urgent relief.

Background on the Tragedy
The fatal accident occurred last Tuesday in the Kapadiyawas area of Bhiwadi. During excavation work at a construction site, a sudden soil collapse buried the workers. The tragedy claimed the lives of six laborers hailing from Jharkhand’s Jadugoda and Ichagarh regions.
