Jamshedpur: Sanjay Rajoria has been appointed as Additional Director and the new Managing Director of Tata Robin Fraser (TRF), a part of the Tata Group of Companies, with effect from February 1, 2018. Rajoria will be taking over from PS Reddy, who was Managing Director of the Company from April 1, 2016.
Rajoria, presently working as General Manager, Raw Materials and Infrastructure Projects, Tata Steel, will be taking over as the new Managing Director.
Subsequent to graduating in Mining, Rajoria joined Tata Steel as graduate trainee in 1988 and after working successfully at several positions of responsibility he was elevated as Chief of Jamadoba Group of Collieries, Tata Steel in 2005. In 2011, he was appointed General Manager (Operations) in West Bokaro Open Cast Mine of Tata Steel and in 2016 he was appointed General Manager (Operations) at Jharia Division of Tata Steel.
As in-charge of open cast and underground mines, he was responsible for operations, wash plant and other administrative and management functions which included corporate social responsibilities and human resource practices.
In addition, K Sujit Mathai Mathew has been appointed as Chief Financial Officer of the Company from February 1, 2018.
