This was observed on Sunday by narrator Gaurangi Gauri from Ayodhya Dham. She is narrating Shri Ram Katha at the seven day programme organized at Surya Mandir in Sidhgora to mark the third anniversary of the Ram Mandir built at its premises.

Gauri praised the people of the city for their devotion and enthusiasm. She said the city people had shown great interest in the Sanatan Dharma and culture. She said she had come to the city for the first time.

“I feel great joy and satisfaction on seeing the dedication and energy of people. They are devoted to the Hindu religious and culture,” said Gauri.

Gauri said Jamshedpur was known as city of steel but it also deserves to be known as ‘Bhaktinagari’ (town of devotion). She also praised former CM and chief patron of Surya Mandir Samiti, Sidhgora, Raghubar Das, for his devotion to Shri Ram. She said Das had shown great enthusiasm and devotion by walking barefoot during a recent Kalash Yatra.
