Jamshedpur: Members of city-based social organization Samadhan celebrated Deepawali with the residents of Khariakocha village in Jadugora. They distributed sweets among the villagers and also burnt firecrackers.
Prior to the celebrations, the outfit members gave diyas, candles, firecrackers, clothes, footwear and sweets to the villagers. They also taught children how to burn firecrackers in a safe manner.
Among those present on the occasion included Dinesh Kumar, Poonam Vig, Amita Mahendru, Amarjeet Singh Raja, Sunita Sachdev and Anita Vibhar.
