Inner Wheel celebrates Diwali at Jagriti School

Jamshedpur: Spreading the message of safe and prosperous Diwali to the children of Jagriti School Kadma, members of Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur celebrated Dipawali on Wednesday.
Convenor Sudha Saberwal performed the Lakshmi Puja and distributed Prasad, ladoos and cake among the children who enjoyed fireworks with the members.
President of the club, Alokananda Bakshi, ISO Vinita Shah, Sonam Saberwal and guest Jyoti Agarwal joined in the celebration.
At the event, member Ranjeeta took session on Rangoli making with the help of glass, spoon, stainer etc. She also took sessions on ‘Toran’ making with the materials easily available to the children such as paper, stickers, bangles, wedding cards etc.
Dipali Dokania spared her time and taught the basic methods of candle making to the children. She also took a workshop of candle making by using earthen diyas, aluminum and glass as moulds and made 30 small candles along with 2 gel candles. Around 25 children benefitted from the workshop.
