Sakchi Police Station officer in-charge removed, Kunal Kumar takes charge

Jamshedpur, Dec 6: District administration removed Rajeev Kumar, officer in-charge of Sakchi PS, following a complaint against him lodged by Independent candidate Saryu Roy. Kunal Kumar has been made the new OC of Sakchi PS.

Ashok Bhatia, owner of the Sakchi-based Blues Bar and Restaurant, had also complained against Rajeev Kumar to the DC and SSP. He provided a CCTV footage of his restaurant to the Commissioner (restaurant) of Excise Department on Friday and sought action against Rajeev for allegedly raiding the bar godown in an illegal manner.

Bhatia said he was assured by administrative officials that a team of excise department from Ranchi would come to his restro bar and investigate the matter. A magistrate would also be deputed for inquiry, he said.
