Jamshedpur: A meeting of members of Poorva Sainik Seva Parishad was held at Laxmi Nagar on Sunday.
Discussing various welfare issues of former soldiers of the Indian Army was the main agenda of the meeting.
The members said the purpose of the organization should be to ensure overall welfare of fellow members and carry out welfare of the society at large.
This was informed by district general secretary of the outfit Sushil Singh. It was unanimously decided in the meeting to add more members to the organization through a massive membership drive across the district.
At the end of the meeting, homage was paid to late APR Nair, city-based educationalist associated with the Kerala Public Trust who passed away a couple of days back in Kerala.
Among those present in the meeting included Utpal Sinha, Pramod Kumar, SS Chakravarty, Avdhesh Kumar, SidhhnathSingth, Ramesh Singh and Ramesh Sharma.
