Saha selected as India’s sole umpire for Asian Youth TT Championship

Jamshedpur, June 24: Sadeep Saha, a Tata Steel employee from the Integrated Planning and Services (IP&S) department, has been selected as the only umpire from India for the 30th Asian Youth Table Tennis Championship to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, from June 28 to July 4, 2026.

Associated with the Jharkhand State Table Tennis Association since 2011, Saha has served as an umpire in several State and National Table Tennis Championships over the years. His selection for the prestigious continental event is being seen as a significant achievement for both Jharkhand and Indian table tennis.

Saha will leave for Bangkok on June 25 to officiate in the championship.

Members of the Jharkhand State Table Tennis Association and the East Singhbhum District Table Tennis Association have congratulated him on his selection and wished him success in his new international responsibility.
