Sacred Heart Convent students celebrate Raksha Bandhan with CRPF Jawans

Jamshedpur, August 6: The JYOTI (Jamshedpur Youth Organisation for Tomorrow’s India) Club of Sacred Heart Convent School, Jamshedpur, celebrated Raksha Bandhan by honouring the bravery and dedication of the nation’s soldiers.

A special ceremony was organised on the school campus to mark the occasion, where 23 CRPF jawans were warmly welcomed by students and staff.

The event was graced by the school’s Principal, Sister M. Steffi A.C, Vice Principal, Sister Jacintha Tauro, and Manager, Sister Serena A.C. In her address, Sister Steffi described the soldiers as the true protectors of the nation and praised their unwavering service. She offered her heartfelt blessings on the occasion of Rakshabandhan.

A total of 24 members of the JYOTI Club tied handmade rakhis on the wrists of the jawans and presented them with handwritten letters expressing gratitude and admiration. All rakhis and letters were lovingly created by the students themselves.

Two of the army men gave speeches, expressing gratitude to the school for this ceremony. They also encouraged feelings of patriotism in the students.

The school choir added to the emotional atmosphere by singing patriotic songs, making the day a truly memorable one for both the students and the soldiers.
