Jamshedpur, August 6: A condolence meeting was held at Excel India Model School, Birsanagar to pay tribute to the late Dishom Guru Shibu Soren, former Chief Minister of Jharkhand, Rajya Sabha member, and founder of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha.
The school’s Principal, Mamta Kumari, spoke about Shibu Soren’s inspiring journey from a humble background to becoming a prominent tribal leader and voice of Jharkhand. She highlighted how he dedicated his life to fighting for the rights, respect, and dignity of tribal communities and remained a courageous leader until his last breath. His passing is being mourned not just in Jharkhand, but across the entire nation.
During the meeting, all students, teachers, and staff members observed a two-minute silence in memory of the departed leader. Prayers were also offered for peace to his soul and strength to his family in this moment of grief.
