15‑foot Ganesh idol to come up in Jamshedpur’s Telco

Jamshedpur, Aug 5: Preparations are underway for Ganesh Puja on August 27 at Bongo Christie Ground in Telco. The ceremonial groundbreaking for a 15‑foot Ganesh idol pandal was officially conducted under the guidance of ex‑district BJP president Dinesh Kumar, alongside priest Arun Mishra.

President of the organizing committee, Vikas Sharma, said the Telco youth committee has hosted this festival for several years and this time plans include constructing a grand pandal with a 75‑foot canopy and a striking 15‑foot Ganesh idol. The event draws devotees from across the region. Committee members Ajit Sahi, Iqbal Singh, Sahid Sharma, Bablu Mukhi, Avtar Singh and many others were present at the ceremony, expressing enthusiasm for the upcoming celebrations.
