Saastha Preethi celebrations

Mantras chanted for 1007 times, Dr. Ajay Kumar seeks blessings
Jamshedpur, Jan 29: As part of 66th Saastha Preethi celebrations, today’s Puja started with Havan for Lord Ganapati.

After that Sudharshana Havan was performed with sacred mantras chanted by the Vedic priests.

In the Sudarshan havan , ghee, kheer of Rice and Gud, dhan mudi, safed til and pila sarsu was poured in large quantities to the chant of the mantras performed for 1007 times.

At the conclusion of havan, Poornahuti was performed. Later on Kalashabhishek for Lord Ganapati, Lord Dharma Saastha and Lord Karthik was performed.

In the evening, Maha Deeparadhana, Rudrakramarchana and Ved Parayan was held. Thousands of devotees witnessed the Pujas and Havan and took the prasad.

In the evening, Dr Ajay Kumar, MP, Jamshedpur, who visited the Temple to seek the blessings, was felicitated by P N Sankaran, Working President of the Temple.
