State level protests against nominating outsider
Jamshedpur, Jan 29: After high drama unfolded on Tuesday soon after JMM withdraw application of its Rajya Sabha candidate, Savita Mahato wife of late Sudhir Mahato, Ex. Dy. CM of Jharkhand and senior JMM leader after RJD chief Lalu Prasad, convicted in fodder scam, dictated terms to both the JMM as well as the Congress to support his candidate Premchand Gupta several activists all over the states are protesting against the party move to withdraw Savita�s candidature.
All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) on Wednesday burnt effigy of Chief Minister Hemant Soren at Sakchi chowk and accused the party of playing against the sentiments of Savita Mahato who is going through a rough phase in her life.
On the other hand members of Jharkhand Disom Party (JDP) headed by senior leader Ishwar Soren burnt effigy of Jharkhand government against selecting external candidate for the upcoming Rajya Sabha elections in Karandih Chowk under Parsudih PS.
In yet another protest Mahanand Mahato, Secretary of Ratiya Mahato Kurmi Vikas Mahamorcha along with several activists burnt effigy of Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Shibu Soren at DVC chowk under Gola Police station area in Ranmgarh district.
