Jamshedpur, Jan 29: As part of 75th Saastha Preethi celebrations, day 2 pujas started at Sri Dharma Saastha Temple with havan for Sri Maha Ganapati on Sunday. The pandits performed kalash sthapana for all the deities of the Temple and also conducted puja and jap. Later they performed moola mantra havan for Navgrahas, Hanumanji, Manja mata and Sarpa Raja. Under the guidance of Brahmashri Vijaya Bhanu Ganapadigal, P N Sankaran, Chairman of the Temple performed Poornahuti and Vasordhara in which continuous pouring of ghee in havan kund was conducted. The priests then performed kalash Abhishek for all deities and maha arati was shown. Later on the managing committee members distributed prasad to the devotees.
In the evening the visiting Ved Pandits conducted Krama archana and chanted Vedas. Again maha arati was shown and prasad was distributed. MLA Saryu Roy visited the Temple and was honoured by P N Sankaran, Chairman of the Temple.
