Saastha Preethi Celebrations begin at Dharma Saastha Temple

Jamshedpur, Jan. 24: The 71st Saastha Preethi Celebrations at the Dharma Saastha Temple commenced today with Havan for Lord Ganesh in the morning. In the evening, Sankalp puja was performed in which P N Sankaran, Working President of the Temple took a vow to perform all the pujas that have been planned in the 11 day celebration. Today’s puja and Havan was conducted under the guidance of Brahmashri Vijay Bhanu, the renowned Ved Pandit of Tamil Nadu. Altogether 23 Ved pandits who arrived from South India have also chanted all the four Vedas. At the end of the Sankalp puja, Maha arati was performed and prasad was distributed to the devotees present by the managing committee members of the Temple.
