CISCE Zonal Kho-Kho championship concludes

Jamshedpur: The CISCE Zonal Kho-Kho Championship 2026–27 concluded at Vivekananda International School, Mango, showcasing impressive performances from players across multiple schools.
The three-day tournament witnessed intense and competitive matches, with students displaying strong athletic skills, discipline, and team spirit. In the Under-14 Boys category, S.S. Academy secured first place, followed by St. Anthony Academy and Ramakrishna Vivekananda International English School. In the Under-14 Girls section, St. Anthony Academy emerged victorious, while Tagore Academy and R.V.S. Academy secured second and third positions respectively.
In the Under-17 Boys category, Ramakrishna Vivekananda International English School won the title, Sri Krishna Public School finished runner-up, and the host school secured third place. The Under-17 Girls title was claimed by Vivekananda International School (Mango), with R.V.S. Academy and St. Joseph’s Convent School following. In the Under-19 Boys category, Ramakrishna Vivekananda International English School again topped the list, while Tagore Academy and Xavier School (Gamharia) took second and third places. In the Under-19 Girls category, Tagore Academy won the championship, followed by Vivekananda International School (Mango) and Tarapore School.
Winners and runners-up were felicitated with trophies and certificates at the closing ceremony, which was conducted under the leadership of Principal Dr. Nidhi Srivastava, with key support from school administrator Somaydeep, Head of Sports Rohit Kumar Singh, teachers, and staff.
