RYSS Intensifies Protest Over Train Delays with Mass Signature Campaign

Jamshedpur: The Rail Yatri Sanghursh Samiti (RYSS) intensified its agitation against chronic train delays on Tuesday by launching a mass signature campaign at Mango Chowk. Hundreds of local residents and passengers joined the drive, voicing deep frustration over the persistent disruptions to train schedules.

Kulwinder Singh Pannu coordinated the event, while Pappu Singh presided over the gathering. Addressing the crowd, committee conveners Shiv Shankar Singh, Subodh Srivastava, and Ajay Kumar declared that they demand nothing less than the punctual operation of trains.

The leaders stressed that irregular train timings and delays cause severe inconvenience to daily commuters, students, workers, and long-distance travellers alike. They vowed that the committee would sustain its agitation until the Railways guarantee punctual services.

Organizers also noted that repeated complaints and appeals have failed to improve railway operations, forcing passengers to resort to public protests and awareness campaigns. The signature drive drew immense public support as participants demanded that railway authorities take immediate steps to restore train punctuality and passenger convenience.
