RVS College Jamshedpur honoured ‘Top Leading Institute for Excellence in Education’

Jamshedpur, Apr 25: RVS College of Engineering and Technology has been awarded the title of “Top Leading Institute for Excellence in Education” by Competition Success Review at a prestigious ceremony held at Hotel Le Meridien, New Delhi. Chairman Binda Singh and Treasurer Shatrughan Singh represented the college at the event and accepted the medal and certificate on behalf of the institution.

In a press statement, Shatrughan Singh highlighted that out of 55 institutions selected from across the country, RVS College stood out for this distinguished honour. He credited the combined efforts of the management, faculty, students and alumni for this milestone and reaffirmed the college’s commitment to maintaining academic excellence.

Dr. Vikram Sharma, Head of Training and Placement, added that the selection was the result of a transparent and competitive evaluation process. Key factors considered included impressive placement records, modern teaching methodologies, experienced faculty and excellent hostel facilities.

The data shared with the Selection Committee emphasized the college’s robust infrastructure: 42,633 engineering and general books, 911 online journals through DELNET, a digital library with 25 systems, a 50-seat AI lab, 55 laboratories, three workshops and a VLSI lab. Other highlights included a high-speed internet facility, group discussion and mock interview setups, an Internal Quality Assessment Cell (IQAC) and provisions for industrial training.

Principal Dr. Rajesh Kumar Tiwari called the award a milestone in the college’s 21-year journey and congratulated all stakeholders. A wave of celebration has swept across the campus in light of this recognition.
