NIT Jamshedpur: Silent candle march in solidarity with Pahalgam terror attack victims

Jamshedpur, Apr 24: In a poignant tribute to the victims of the recent Pahalgam terror attack, the Students’ Council of NIT Jamshedpur organized a silent candle march, drawing over 1000 students in a powerful show of solidarity. The march, which started at NIT roundabout and passed through Ambedkar Chowk, concluded back at the campus, symbolizing unity against terrorism.

The participants stood together, silently holding candles, in remembrance of the victims, sending a strong message of peace and unity. “This is our way of expressing solidarity with the victims and showing that terrorism will never break our spirit,” said one of the march organizers.

The march caught the attention of the local community, who also appreciated the students’ commitment to peace. At the culmination of the event, a one-minute silence was observed in honour of the victims. The peaceful initiative reinforced the message that unity and peace will always prevail over violence and fear.
