Jamshedpur, April 24: The students of RVS Academy celebrated the birth anniversary of one of the leading figures of India’s First War of Independence also termed as the Sepoy Mutiny of 1857, Babu Kunwar Singh, with patriotic verve. Students put up a brief programme comprising a speech, poem and a skit as odes to the revolutionary leader. Chairman of the School’s Managing Committee, Binda Singh and Vice Principal Anita Tiwari were present on the occasion as special guests. Binda Singh encouraged the students to face upto adverse situations bravely and with determination. Vice Principal Anita Tiwari praised the school students for their efforts and zeal in celebrating the birth anniversary of the courageous revolutionary, Babu Kunwar Singh.
