Jamshedpur, April 24: Preparations for Lord Jagannath’s Gundicha Rath Yatra that ibe taken out from Jadugoda Shiv Mandir on June 20, have commenced. Shiv Shakti Sangh’s secretary-cum-priest Dadan Pandey and his two sons started the construction of the chariot amidst hymns and prayers. Temple priest Dadan Pandey, said that like every year, this year too, on June 20, the Rath Yatra of Lord Jagannath will be taken out from Jadugoda Shiv Mandir in the spirit of reverence and festivity. The return journey from Mashi Bari will be on June 28. The traditional norms will commence on June 4 with Dev Snan and other rituals till June 19, the eve of the Rath Yatra. Bhajan, prayers and Bhog distribution will feature in the Shiv Madir premises between June 20 and June 28.
