RV, LFS ace ASISC zonal quiz Competition

Jamshedpur, June 14: �Quizzing is about leveraging what you already know and putting it to use in whatever context you happen to be in.�

Kerala Public School, Kadma hosted the Zonal level ASISC Quiz Competition on 14th June in the auditorium and activity hall for the senior and junior category.

The chief guest Pratim Banerjee , Director of Allgemein Engineering Bureau (P) Ltd and ABC Health Care Centre inaugurated the event by lighting the ceremonial Lamp accompanied by the Principal Sharmila Mukherjee and Director Sharat Chandran. The atmosphere echoed with chanting of slokas, adding to the grandeur.

The ball was set rolling with welcome address by the Principal as well as the chief guest, who with their invigorating speech lifted the morale of the participants.
The number of teams in the junior and senior category was 17 and 23 respectively.

These teams had a preliminary round with 80 students (34 Senior and 46 Junior category) which led to shortlisting the final participants. The quiz masters were introduced by Vinod Menon and Arindam Chakraborty for the senior and junior categories respectively. The students anchoring the event announced the details of the quiz competition, ground rules for the participants as set by the ASISC.

In the senior category-Rajendra Vidyalaya (RV) was declared the winner, Little Flower School emerged as the first runner-up while Loyola School bagged the third position.

In the junior category- Little Flower School (LFS) was crowned the winner, Kerala Samajam Model School was the first runner-up while Hill Top School secured third position.

The winners were awarded certificates by the principal. Vote of thanks was extended by the Headmistress of the junior block K.Jaishree.
