Thousands take oath of unity on Sardar Patel’s birth anniversary

Ranchi, Oct. 31: Remembering Sardar Ballabh Bhai Patel on his birth anniversary, Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said that the ‘Iron Man of India’ unified nearly 550 princely states in building new India. He made the observation while addressing people on the occasion of Run for Unity at Albert Ekka Chowk.

Quoting Prime Minister’s slogan of ‘One India, Great India’, Das said that the remaining work after Sardar Patel is being done by Narendra Modi. “Under the PM’s capable and visionary leadership, the nation has proved its worth. Neighbouring people have to rethink about their attitude towards us. Keeping the unity and integrity of the nation intact is the need of the hour,” said the CM.

Das said that people should take a vow in the name of Sardar Patel that they will neutralize all attempts to destabilize the country. He administered an oath to safeguard national unity to the people present on the occasion.
A large number of people participated in the ‘Run For Unity’ led by the CM.

Ex-CM Arjun Munda, Minister C. P. Singh, MP R.T. Choudhary, Ravindra Roy, MLA Navin Jaiswal, Gangotri Kujoor, Mayor Asha Lakra, DGP D. K. Pandey, Additional CS Amit Khare and Principal Secretary to the CM Sanjay Kumar were also present on the occasion.
