RSB Group Jamshedpur targets 30% female workforce

Jamshedpur: RSB Group, a prominent organization known for its outstanding Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) endeavors, marked International Women’s Day with a pledge towards gender parity. The company, which has consistently demonstrated its dedication to diversity and inclusion, celebrated the occasion with various programs and initiatives aimed at empowering women.

Several years ago, Chairman RK Behra and Vice Chairman and Managing Director S.K. Behra set an ambitious target of achieving 30% female representation in the workforce. This commitment has been the driving force behind RSB’s ongoing efforts to empower women within the organization.

The International Women’s Day celebration, a highlight in RSB’s annual calendar, saw participation from over 2000 individuals, including employees and their families. The event featured a diverse range of cultural performances and activities, delivering empowering messages on women’s rights and achievements.

Nirmala Behra, Executive Director–Group HR, played a pivotal role in leading initiatives for women’s welfare, including the “Ek Pahal” project aimed at creating a supportive work environment.
