Jamshedpur: In a surprising turn of events, a cabin in Sakchi, Jamshedpur, was demolished by the Jamshedpur Notified Area Committee (JNAC) team at 11 pm on Tuesday night without prior notice to the owner. Mohammad Yusuf, a resident of Jugsalai, has approached the Deputy Commissioner seeking justice in this matter. Accompanied by Azad Samaj Party youth president Mazhar Khan, he met with the Deputy Commissioner to discuss the issue.

According to Yusuf, he was in the process of relocating the cabin from Adityapur to Mango. Due to a traffic jam in Sakchi, he temporarily placed the cabin in an empty space near the old book stalls in Sakchi, with plans to move it the next morning. However, to his dismay, the cabin was demolished overnight by the Jamshedpur Axis team, supported by Tata Steel UISL and the administration, using a JCB.

Yusuf had purchased the cabin with a loan and was shocked to learn about its destruction on the morning of March 6. As the sole breadwinner of his family, he expressed concern about the financial impact of this incident. He deems the demolition illegal and has urged the Deputy Commissioner to take appropriate action against the responsible officers involved. The resident seeks justice and hopes for a resolution in this matter. (w/nkm)
