Jamshedpur, Dec 16: Unidentified thieves took away cash and foreign liquor worth Rs 1.06 lakh from a liquor shop situated at Dimna Chowk under Olidih police station area on 14th December last. The shop manager Akhileshwar Thakur learnt about the theft next morning when a neighbouring shop owner informed him over phone. He lodged an FIR against unidentified persons in this connection. He said he had shut the shop at 10 pm on the day of theft. The thieves took away cash worth Rs 29,000 and foreign liquor of various brands.
Police said they were searching for CCTV footage to identify the culprits.
