Jamshedpur, August 26: Over a period of time simple thread has gone through many avatars and now we find designer rakhis in market that can be really expensive.

At the same time, nothing can bring a smile in a brother’s face when he flaunts the simple rakhi made by his own sister. That Rakhi always reminds of love, bondage and responsibility of a brother & sister.

Keeping this in mind ladies of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West took the pleasant task of teaching Rakhi making to young children of Sonari area in their Deeksha Centre for two consecutive days.

Mrs Payal, Anupama, Sujata, Shweta and their team of ladies took two days session at Deeksha and around fifteen children learnt the art of rakhi making.

Materials were supplied to them free of cost and they took away one or two rakhis. It was enjoyed by all and children learnt a useful art.
