Three-day teachers training workshop begins

Jamshedpur, August 26: Three Days Teachers Training Workshop on Lions Quest: Skills for Adolescence was inaugurated by joint efforts of Lions Club of Jamshedpur North & Lions Club Adityapur Greater’ on Wednesday, August 26 at Boulevard Hotel, Bistupur.

“Light of Life” lamp was ignited by the Chief Guest Kanchan Singh (District Governor) and an introductory highlight on whole training program was given by I. Shreenivas Rao (President, Lions Club of Jamshedpur North). Program will run up to 28th Aug 2015 under supervision of Ratna Choudhry Senior Trainer, Lions Quest from New Delhi is the Resource Person & Madhav Lakhotia (District Chairperson-Lions Quest).

Overall 42 teachers from 14 distinct schools enrolled themselves for their active participation in TTW program.

This is the 20th such Teachers Training Workshop to be held in Jamshedpur since 2005. The program aims to help teachers as well students to make aware and reform their social lives. 

Vote of thanks was proposed by Vimmi Rajan. Lions Quest is a major service works often organize by Lions Clubs International, under which growing children’s and teenagers are taught to build their character, to sense of social obligation, to emerge from negative thinking and de-addiction as well.
