Rotary Jamshedpur West helps open computer class at Kadma school

Jamshedpur,April 22: Rotary District 3250 Governor Sanjeev Thakur along with First Lady Poonam Thakur visited Bal Kalyan Vidya Mandir School, Kadma on the invitation of Nibha Mishra, President, Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West and Chairman, Management Committee, Bal Kalyan Vidya Mandir.

The school providing education opportunities to children of economically weaker sections. Principal of the school P Susheela was also present.

On the occasion, Sanjeev Thakur and Poonam Thakur jointly inaugurated the computer class which would be run with the support of Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West.

The club distributed school bags to 120 students and handed over Rs 51,000 to the school management.

 District Governor also handed over certificates to the students who attended computer classes at Diksha Kendra and at Harijan Basti.

Club President Nibha Mishra thanked Rotary Club’s Literacy Chair Kamalendra Shukla and Alpana Shukla for their cooperation. 110 school children were present on this occasion along with Simran Saggu, Alokananda Bakshi, Shweta Chand, Alpana Shukla, Amresh Sinha, Harshad Gandhi, Varsha Gandhi, Ashok Jha, school teachers among others.
