Rotary Femina develops hand wash area in Jamshedpur High School

Jamshedpur, Oct 15: Rotary Club of Jamshedpur Femina inaugurated WinS (WASH in Schools), a project of the Rotary District 3250 at Jamshedpur High School in Bistupur on Thursday, October 15. �

A hand wash area with taps and soap was developed for the students to wash hands before and after eating and after defecation.

WinS is an investment in the health and well-being of future generations. It would enable children from all sections of society to develop good hygiene habits.

The students pledged to wash hands and keep themselves healthy and maintain hygiene and assured to spread the importance of health and hygiene.

A talk on the topic was also held at the event. Rotray Femina members also distributed 51 soaps to the School authority to provide it to the students when needed.

Rotary Members present at the event were president Sonal Agrawal, Babita Kedia, Monideepa, Shweta Jalan, Shashi Gadia, Rashmi Singh and others.
