Jamshedpur, Aug 29: Rotary Club Jamshedpur West organized an Anaemia Screening Camp at Seth Trilok Chand Gupta Saraswati Shishu Vidya Mandir, Parulia, on Tuesday under the initiative of Rotarian Kamal Gupta.
During the camp, all school children were examined free of cost. Several were found to be anaemic and were provided with three months of free medication. Kamal Gupta also addressed the students, advising them on healthy lifestyle practices to prevent anaemia and maintain overall well-being.
The program was attended by the school’s president Prem Kumar Gupta, secretary Vrishketu Bera, principal Vinod Prasad, along with teachers and staff. Expressing his commitment, Kamal Gupta assured that the camp would be organized again next year.
Rotary Club Jamshedpur West is actively conducting Anemia Screening Programs across the region. Institutions interested in hosting similar camps can reach out to Rotary West President Ashok Jha for collaboration.
