Rotary Club felicitates five teachers with Nation Builders Award

Jamshedpur, Sept 5: On Teachers� Day, Rotary Club of Jamshedpur West felicitated five teachers with Rotary�s Nation Builders Award.

They are the teachers who never made a headline in newspapers nor they enjoyed television bites, they are lighting up lives like a candle with dedication and enthusiasm.

It was an unique opportunity to listen to their stories on how they loved their work and why they want to continue doing so throughout their lives.

P Sushila, Principal of Bal Kalyan Vidya Mandir- a school for underprivileged children, run in the backyard of a bungalow�who served the school for 39 long years.

Binita Tirkey, Teacher of Jamshedpur Nursery School. She served the school for 43 years travelling 2km on foot everyday and educating more than 2000 children in her life.

She loves to teach and do so with all her heart and soul to provide her students with what is important,
Ms. Reeti Jha, teacher at Jusco School South Park. She is H.O.D of Hindi as well as Incharge of Scouts & Guide Club.

Teacher Dinabondhu Sahu taught children in school and after retirement took the responsibility of educating children at �Saptarshi Gurukul�.

Aloka Chatterjee of Lajpat Public School, whose dedication towards the betterment of children is worth appreciating. The Club honored them with a plaque of Nation Builders� Award and gifts.
