The Rock Garden has unique art installation that involves in-situ rock carving. Chitta Dey, an in-situ rock carving artist from West Bengal was engaged by Tata Steel to create an art piece based on the importance of biodiversity and ecosystems. The in-situ rock carving which has been created on the natural rocks jutting out of the ground reflects a prey and predator relationship. The art-work depicts food chain process, which tells how every organism depends on another organism for its existence. This art piece has several carvings of animal motifs like grasshopper, frog, rabbit, fox, snake, owl, lion etc in their natural habitats, depicting a prey and predator relationship. Whether it is an eagle catching and swallowing a snake, a snake eating a frog, a frog swallowing a grasshopper and a grasshopper eating the grass.

This impressive rock carving is 68-feet wide and 22-feet high and would remain unaffected even if there are damages through natural actions. The park also consists of a newly developed waterbody, amidst 2-acres of lush green landscaped park overlooking the Gurudwara pond. It has been dedicated to the citizens, with the objective of attracting their attention and contribution towards safeguarding our environment and preserving biodiversity.
