Robbery strikes Ghatshila family attending wedding: Lakhs worth of jewelry stolen

Ghatshila: A shocking incident unfolded in Pavda village of the Ghatshila police station area as the house of Ranveer Singh became the target of thieves on Wednesday night. The miscreants broke into the residence and made away with gold jewelry worth lakhs after breaking the lock on the cupboard locker. The theft was discovered on Thursday afternoon when Ranveer Singh, along with his mother and sister, returned from a wedding ceremony.

The family promptly reported the incident to the Ghatshila police station, leading to the arrival of Sub-Inspector Govind Kumar and his team at the scene. SI Govind Kumar gathered information about the theft from Ranveer Singh’s house and assured the family that the matter was under investigation.
Ranveer Singh’s sister provided details about the unfortunate incident, stating that they had attended a wedding in Tata on Tuesday. Upon returning, they found the house door open, and upon inspection, discovered the missing valuables. The stolen items included four pairs of earrings, two gold chains, two rings, a silver key ring, and Rs 10,000 in cash.

Despite inquiries in the vicinity, no one had any information about the theft. The police assured the affected family that a thorough investigation was underway, and efforts were being made to resolve the matter swiftly. As the investigation progresses, the police aim to bring the perpetrators to justice and recover the stolen jewelry.
