Jamshedpur: The NCC unit of Karim City College, Sakchi, Jamshedpur, recently organized a two-day annual program titled “Udghosh 2023,” concluding last Thursday. The event featured a variety of competitions, including drill, guard of honor, speeches, dance, art and craft, and rangoli, providing a platform for NCC cadets to showcase their skills.
Under the leadership of College Secretary Dr. Mohammad Zakaria, Principal Dr. Mohammad Reyaz, and NCC Officer Major Fakhruddin Ahmed, the program culminated ceremoniously at 3:00 pm on the second day. Commanding Officer Colonel Vinay Ahuja graced the occasion as the chief guest.
The ceremony commenced with the lighting of the lamp, followed by NCC Officer Major Ahmed presenting an overview of the planned activities for the two days. A captivating dance performance welcomed the chief guest, who addressed the gathering, emphasizing the significance and popularity of NCC. Principal Dr. Mohammad Reyaz commended the NCC unit for its commendable efforts.
The highlight of the concluding ceremony was the felicitation of cadets who excelled in various programs over the two days. The chief guest and the principal jointly presented rewards to these outstanding cadets. The program concluded on a grateful note with a vote of thanks and the NCC song, symbolizing the successful execution of “Proclamation 2023” and fostering a sense of camaraderie among the NCC cadets.
