Jamshedpur: As the city was dipped with festive fervour of New Year, two different gangs of robbers struck at a liquor shop and Sai Trader at Jugsalai. The robbers loot Rs 10,000 from liquor shop at Parsudih and Rs 50,000 from shop at Jugsalai.
The police have beefed up security arrangements and carried special checks at the exit points.
Police officials said that necessary attempts are being made to arrest the remaining three members of the gang. Maintaining that there is a need to increase police vigilance on the highways, the trader rued that even �goonda tax� collection is one aspect that the administration should look at and react accordingly.
